How does an 18 year old company stay competitive in business strategy and technology? What strengths and assets should the organization enhance and what are the market opportunities to capitalize on?
Learning Net, a leading Learning Management System (LMS) provider to the accounting and tax industry, was looking for an independent audit of their technology stack and business strategy.
Taking an agile approach, Trunk executed a three-stage process focused on data collection, product research and financial analysis. During the eight-week consulting project, data was gathered from multiple sources and analyzed to gain a thorough sense of the product, company, and market.
The final deliverable, a 130-page report and financial model, was presented to the client over a two-day workshop with the company’s board of directors. The recommendations focused on corporate strategy, UI/UX and technology enhancements.
The corporate strategy recommendations were based on the financial analysis that was performed. UI/UX overhauls were suggested by the Trunk design team, and the technological enhancements were proposed by the Trunk development team.
