As a founding member of the Trunk team, Dave works to develop mutually beneficial relationships with agencies in New York. Dave understands that agencies can have difficulty in scaling their business, and works closely with them to provide strategic guidance as they attempt to do so.
Dave has worked in the technology vertical for over 10 years, and has enjoyed successful spells with Gartner, BlueKai and most recently Oracle. Due to his diverse experience in the emerging technology industry, Dave spends most of his time architecting strategies to share with Trunks partners and prospects.
Remika has a background in Account Management and Digital & Social Media. She’s lived in Bangkok, Singapore, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and Mumbai and over five years ago, moved to New York to pursue a Masters in Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. New York has ever since been called home. With a truly global resume, she’s helped clients all over the world with digital/social media and account management working with tiny start ups and also conglomerates both in house as well as within agencies. This included media planning, digital campaign strategy and execution, as well as analytics.
With over 14 years of experience ranging from the financial world to the startup world, Ed brings with him an array of skill sets crucial to business development and early stage company growth. His career started at Goldman Sachs and brought him into business development positions at LinkIt!, a K-12 educational technology platform, Joios, a food & drink data company, EdgeTheory, a social media content marketing and technology startup, and SWARM, a digital design & development agency.
Having recently completed the User Experience Design Immersive course at General Assembly, Ed plans to leverage his newfound UX knowledge across many aspects of Trunk. He graduated from Tulane University in 2002 with a BA in Communication. Ed currently serves as Recruitment Subcommittee Chair of GenR of the International Rescue Committee in New York. He is highly active with his college alumni organizations and serves on the Tulane Alumni Association board. He has served the Tulane Alumni Association Executive Board as Chair of the Clubs Committee and has served as President of the Tulane Alumni Club of New York.
David cut his teeth early trading options before moving into equity research / investment management for a boutique investment manager. After three years in Alabama, he was ready to go to the city and joined the Hinduja Group to assist with private investments. He has always had a passion for both investing and technology that drove his early interests. While he started in Computer Science, he earned a degree in economics in three years from the University of Pennsylvania. This background in technology has been incredibly useful as the world becomes more technology driven.
In his spare time, David enjoys cooking, watching European football, and backpacking through the wilderness with his fiancée. He also stays up to date with the latest business, world, soccer, and tech news.
Coming from a background building products for digital agencies and startups around NYC, Andy brings a wide variety of experience to the Trunk team. He's worked on everything from enterprise SaaS products to mobile games and is always on the lookout for the opportunity to create an engaging interaction.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Andy studied physics and history at Bard College, with a focus on relativity and renewable energy. When he's not reading about the latest tech news, he likes to relax with some Livy, Le Guin or Studs Terkel.
Alex is a certified Scrum Product Owner / Manager, Scrum Master and Agile Lead overseeing end-to-end digital product development focusing on emerging technologies. As a Product Manager, Alex oversees the entire development cycle for bootstrapped startups to fully funded Fortune 500 clients. His primary focus is on executing flawless strategic initiatives through open stakeholder collaboration, forward-thinking user experience, engaging design and cross-platform web & mobile development.
Alex's profession background spans experience in digital product agencies, startups, and Fortune 500s. In his spare time Alex enjoys endurance sports, such as marathon running and is also an avid traveler, having lived in five different countries growing up.
Boya spent nearly 5 years in advertising as an Art Director before transitioning to User Experience. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2012 with a BFA in Communications Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises
She also completed the User Experience course at General Assembly and has immense passion for product design. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Boya loves exploring the outdoors, reading about psychology and tech, and trying out new coffee places often
Having worked as a project manager with companies big and small, Anna’s passion is to make life more efficient through technology. Her experiences are a blend of product and project management, where she’s worked with stakeholders and the development & design teams to create a vision for the products. The bottom line that she’s always concerned with is the delivery of key improvements that enhance the overall user experience.
Anna is a graduate of Boston University and has lived in Boston for many years. She’s now back and based in Brooklyn where she grew up. When not creating to-do lists, Anna is probably watching a foreign movie or traveling in Europe.
